Trans National Corporations (TNC's)

TNC are companies which have their headquaters in one country but their manufacturing, distribution and sales outlets are spread out all over the world. TNC's include Nike, Toyota, General Motors, Ford and Apple. The countries that contain the most headquarters of Trans National Corporations are France, Germany, United States, Netherlands and Japan (the USA has the largest amount). Most of the top TNC's revenue is higher than many developing countries Gross Domestic Product (GDP). TNCs promote globalisations by making and selling products in other countries.
